Hi! I’m Karolina, the owner of adorn U.

I live in Wiltshire with my husband Lukasz, my amazing daughter Agata and our Basset fauve de Bretagne - Tranquility (or Quilly as we like to call her).

adorn U was originally created by my good friend Lisa. With a passion for makeup, something she always struggled to find, was a premium quality makeup brush set, that didn't break the bank, but at the same time gave that flawless finish we all strive for. With this in mind, she decided to launch adorn U and combine it with her knowledge of the personalised gift industry to give adorn U that little something extra.  

From the very start I’ve loved everything about adorn U and so when Lisa moved to Scotland and told me she wanted to follow her dream to work with animals, I jumped at the chance to become the new face of adorn U!  

I’ve always considered makeup a true art form that is within reach of us all, which means we can all be artists! Every artist needs their own tools to create masterpieces and adorn U personalised makeup brushes offer just that! 

Making adorn U personalised makeup brushes the perfect personalised gift, as well as being a luxury daily use product.

The Journey to Perfection

 After 18 months of research, brush testing and learning new skills, adorn U personalised makeup brushes was launched as the first personalised makeup brush brand in the U.K in 2018. 

With customers from all over the world, including professional makeup artists, tv shows and celebrities - things so far, are going great!

Eco-friendly, Vegan &

100% Cruelty-Free Makeup Brushes 

Made with the softest, highest quality, Vegan, duo-fibre biodegradable bristles held together with eco-resin glue. 

Sustainably sourced biodegradable wooden handles and stunning 100% recyclable copper ferrules (contact your local copper collection point to recycle)

Eco-friendly Packaging

adorn U luxury gift boxes are 100%  recyclable and made using recycled card.  The black foam inserts aren't widely recycled however PLEASE  DON'T BIN THEM! Return your inserts to adorn U free of charge (send an email and we will forward a postage paid label) and we will recycle them for you.  The foam used to make the inserts will be sent back to the manufacture who will chop them up to be reused as carpet underlay. 

Outer Packaging Boxes

Made from recycled card and paper wrapping tape, both 100% recyclable.  Black tissue & shredded paper made from recycled paper & 100% fully recyclable 

Luxury Velvet Pouches

Our luxury velvet pouches are produced by Bags of Ethics™.  A positive label that was created to unite consumers, businesses, and makers across three key pillars: 

PEOPLE, PLANET, and PRODUCT.

Envelopes

Matte black recyclable paper finish envelopes.  The internal plastic bubble protection is unfortunately not recyclable - we are currently looking into a fully recyclable packing option to take it's place soon.

Ribbon

Holding it all together is our stunning adorn U ethical ribbon which is produced using 100% post-consumer waste plastic in the form of PET plastic bottles. 

20% of the energy used in the production process is solar powered.  90% of the water used is recycled in the manufacturing process.
